First of all, welcome to the Hydro Industry! All our products are, by contract, sold exclusively through four master wholesale distributors in the USA (and four in Canada). To set up an account to purchase our products, simply contact one of our distributors. You can find a list at the top right of the Home page under the “Look for distributors” drop down tab. This will take you to their Websites where you can contact them about directly.
We provide technical service and literature for stores such as yours. So we can list your store on our Website, just fill out our “New retail store” form. We will also make sure that you automatically receive information, fliers, and newsletters from us.
As a retailer, you are eligible to receive our FREE clear leaflet holder—ready filled with our tri-fold leaflets (user guides) from your Grodan supplier. Ask them for it when you place your first order. We suggest that you hand out the six tri-fold leaflets to your customers. We find that even the experienced ones can benefit from reading them. Especially the pink SEED, and the blue WATER brochure.
We would also encourage you to consider a membership with the Progressive Gardening Trade Association (PGTA). Among the benefits they offer are a really useful folder with marketing and educational tools for stores, tradeshows and regular credit card fraud alerts. To visit their Website click here.
Finally, www.maximumyield.com and www.urbangarden.com are industry magazines. As a retailers a store can get a number of issues you can hand out for free. They also arrange a tradeshows each year for our industry. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help you in any way.
