House & Patio Plants

The 'Plantscape' is becoming more and more popular. The reason is, plants help generate a good environment at the work place, hotels and at home, also more and more people are aware that plants help clean the air and thereby improve the indoor climate.

The indoor climate is poor in modern constructions, mainly due to poor air exchange. Mostly this problem is solved by increased ventilation. Readings done by Sennis Space Center, CA show that plants for sure have a positive effect on the indoor climate. In offices with many plants the air is cleaner and the need for ventilation is lower.

Modern computer equipment, telefax and copy machines all gives out fumes that can result in headaches, asthma, allergies, dry sinuses etc. The plants can to some degree hold or take up the fumes.

Another important factor in connection with plants and indoor climate is; plants transpire around the clock and through that the humidity in the air is increased. The humidity cuts down on the dust particles and our sinuses feel better.
