Birch Aquarium now using Grow-Cubes

The Birch Aquarium

The prestigious Birch Aquarium of the University of California, San Diego is now using Grow-Cubes in their terrarium designs. Assistant Aquarium Curator Fernando Nosratpour stated "We had already been buying aquatic plants grown in stonewool from the Tropica company, but never thought of using it in our terrariums. 

The Grow-Cubes have provided faster plant growth. We also have a much easier time transporting the terrariums since the Grow-Cubes are lighter in weight than other media we were using.
