The Grodan Max family includes stone wool propagation plugs and growing blocks in a range of sizes for commercial cannabis cultivation. Max Plugs support rapid root initiation and uniform root development, helping growers produce healthy, usable transplants. Max Blocks support fast root establishment and greater flexibility for vegetative and generative crop steering.
Deliver fast, uniform root development and consistent propagation performance, helping growers maximize the number of healthy, usable transplants.
Enable fast root establishment after transplant and greater irrigation control through uniform water distribution and a wide WC% steering range.
Grodan partnered with Wageningen University & Research (WUR) to develop an innovative substrate technology specifically designed for cannabis cultivation. The result is Grodan Max.
Through the optimization of substrate design and manufacturing processes, Grodan Max delivers exceptional water dynamics, giving growers excellent irrigation control and flexibility across a wide WC% steering range. These characteristics support fast, uniform root establishment and a more consistent response to crop-steering inputs, contributing to uniform crop development, improved yield potential and consistent quality.
A more predictable root-zone response helps growers execute steering decisions with greater consistency, uniformity and control.
