What is the flower and bloom stage?
Support flower swelling, bulking and ripening through the final stages of the crop cycle.
Flower & bloom begins once flower sites are established and plant stretch has largely stopped. During this stage, crop management shifts toward supporting flower swelling, dry matter accumulation and ripening as the crop progresses toward harvest.
In the Grodan 5-Phase Model in Large Blocks, this stage spans Phase 4 and Phase 5. Phase 4 typically covers weeks 4 through 6 of flower, followed by Phase 5 during approximately weeks 7 through 8 or 9, depending on the cultivar.
